Hallmark commercials...They'll getcha everytime!

So, I was watching TV yesterday afternoon after dropping Caleb off and a hallkmark commercial came on. I have to admit I've lost interest in their commercials since my Dad stopped working there, but this one made me cry instantly! And I'm sure most of you know why....Let's just say my sister's name is Jenny. I mean really...REALLY HALLMARK?! WHY?!

The worst part is...after the commercial was over, I grabbed the remote (yup you guessed it) I pressed the rewind button. :'/

Bye-Bye Bladder!

So, for those of you who don't know. I've been having trouble with my stomach since October. I think I've endured every test known to man-kind. Finally they found that my Gall bladder isn't functioning properly. While it stinks, we're just glad we finally figured out what is causing me so much pain! I will be having it removed next Thursday. They procedure is laproscopic, meaning the make two tiny insisions and remove it with a lazer. I would give you the details, but I'll spare you. ;)

Anywho, I'm pretty nervous, just because the complications post-surgery range from awesomeness to severe nausea etc. Let's be praying for awesomeness, yes?! I find the gall bladder quite confusing. You don't need it to survive, but it does help break down fat and bile to process food through your system. My pray is that my body will figure out how to function without it in the least amount of pain possible.
To help you gain a better understanding of gall bladder anatomy (because i know you'll google it after anyways...) ;) here's a pic to help you out. Don't worry when I googled it, I almost threw up while looking at all the other gall bladder pictures. Gross.

Prayers are appreciated! :/

6 Months and Counting... :)

Wow! I can't believe that today marks the day that I have been married to my best friend for SIX MONTHS! That's half a year! I know to all you pro's out there... (holla out to my parents, married for 30 years, The Crabtree's married for 35 years) 6 months is nothing. But, we think it's pretty awesome! :) We feel so blessed to have such incredible parents to exemplify Godly and loving marriages!
This morning I woke up to my husband (and precious dog) at my bedside, with breakfast! I LOVE breakfast in bed, it's one of my favorite things! It's crazy to think all that has happened just in 6 months, the good and the bad! We've gotten to travel, became an Aunt and Uncle, gotten a dog, learned how to be homeowners, and so much more! Here are some pics from our first 6 months of marriage that I love.
Jonny and I on our honeymoon in St. Lucia. We miss that place everyday and can't wait to go back again. What a magical place!
Our first Christmas together as a married couple!
New Years Eve in St. Louis! What a great trip to just get-a-way! We had such a great time, St. Louis is an incredible city!

The birth of our first nephew, Caleb Xavier!

Trip to Florida for Jonathan's job.

In Houston for the sweet sixteen and elite eight! Sic'em Bears!

Dave Matthews came out with a new single right around the time that we got married, and everytime I hear it, as cheesy as it sounds, I feel on top of the world. Everyday I thank the Lord for my amazing husband. Marriage truely is one of God's greatest gifts. I love spending everyday with my best friend!

"You and Me" By Dave Matthews Band

"We can always look back at what we did

All these memories of you and me baby

But, right now it's you and me forever

And you know we could do better than anything we did

You know that you and me, we could do anything

You and me together, we could do anything baby,

you and me together, yea, yea"

FLO RIDA!

Jonathan had the opportunity recently to go to Florida for a project of his he had been working on at work. Not only was it cool that he got to go to Florida, but he got to take me too! We're setting the standard very high for future business trips...:) It was great just to get away and rest. I literally did nothingwhile he was at the power plant and it was awesome! But, I've come to the realization that I need to get better at taking pictures! So I'm sorry there are only a few! Enjoy!

Brrr...windy....OCEAN!
At a beach off of Port St. Lucie, it was sunny but cool and windy. :( We were still happy to see the sunshine! (and be outside for more than 5 seconds!)

Jonny and (I) were bored at this museum that we paid for and it ended up being under construction, so he built this BU out of lego things in the gift shop. :) He loves his bears!

Our Home as of Lately...

Things have been quite busy around the Crabtree house lately. No one tells you how much there is to do after you first get married! But, we are having so much fun just being together! Here are a few pics of things we've been up to lately! Starting with the most recent! ENJOY!

Just in time for the super bowl...Welcome our new TV! We got a really great deal on it and are excited to enjoy the tube in clear picture! :) Also introducing, our new couches and TV stand if you haven't seen them yet! I'm looking for different pillows, so let me know if you have any suggestions!
I woke up to this on the kitchen table the other morning. Jonny may be an engineer but he's still creative! He let me sleep in one morning because I haven't been sleeping well because of this silly pain in my side-hopefully we'll figure out what it is very soon. But this sweet note made me feel much better!

Jonny, with the help of Lila setting up our new grill!!! Uncle Tommy and Aunt Lisa gave this to us as a wedding present! Due to the emense amount of snow that we've gotten we haven't had a chance to put it together, until now! Jonny just grilled brauts on it last night for the super bowel, it was DELISH!!! Thanks Uncle Tommy and Aunt Lisa!!!

So we got a Cheddars in KC! Jonny and I thought it would be a great idea to eat there one night, little did we know we had an overflow of emotions from all our many college memories spent at the beloved resteraunt. Little did we know we would leave sad. Pretty sure I cried (happy/sad tears) on 3 sepereate occasions. Cheers to Sangria Margaritas and Shiner Bock.

My birthday, over a month ago-but still important, right?

This is my bff, Alli. I love her very much. She came ove for my bday-just got off work, hints her bright blue sexy apparel. :)

Jonny's requested post

We are going to play a fun game. It's called read this post backwards. Start at the end and go back, they didn't upload right. :)

Dad's big buck. Craziest thing I've ever seen. He had really thick antlers like webbed toes.

The boys out celebrating, as they did the ENTIRE weekend.

Dadda and his son. It's so great to see my Dad with his two sons that he never had. I think his life is now complete.

Where Jonny took his shot from. He shot the buck from 225 yards away.

Jonny with his first buck! 10 pointer! I'm so proud.

Staking out the grounds.

A snowy Friday=Perfect hunting weather?! :)

Well folks, it's official. My father has completely brainwashed my husband (and many of his friends and entire family) with hunting. Fortunatley I grew up with this crazy concept and am quite use to big burly men walking around the house dressed from head to toe in camo and orange. So, it's no surprise to me that Jonny spends his precious friday's that he get off every other week to go hunting or spend time in a related activity. Today it snowed here, nothing to write home about-just some flurries. But they still went out in the 5 degree weather to shoot them some birdies! I'd say they had some success, 14 birds they saw and they got every single one of them! My Dad's english setter, Lucy, did a great job finding the birds for the boys. Enjoy the pics!

You may not recognize that man, but it indeed that is my husband.
Lucy Jane the dog. It's pretty funny when it snows she is really hard to see because she's all white with dark grey and brown spots. Don't worry-Dad's got an orange hunting vest for her. He wouldn't have it any other way. :)

Jonny and Lucy

Here birdy birdy birdy!!!

I'll have you know that after I went off to college my Dad missed me so much that he went and bought a dog to replace me. ;)

Time to clean the birds! They are actually quite delicious!
