Gone Fishin'

As most of you know, Jonny and I have been out of town a lot lately. But, that's good news for you because we have lots of pictures to share of our adventures! We got a new camera just before our trips so we are thrilled to share more pictures and better quality! :) We are still learning how to use it, so bare with us. Our first trip was very special. Over father's day weekend we all went to Rockbridge, MO where my Dad and I use to go fishing every year, just the two of us. This year is the first year Jonny and the rest of our family got to go all together! It was such a special time to share such an amazing place with my husband for the first time! We finished of the trip with visiting Phil (Jonny's brother) at Kamp. SO FUN! Enjoy the pictures!

We got to visit Phil at Kamp on our way back home to KC. It was so great to see him and all that he is doing at kamp! So many beloved memories spent at this place! 13 years as a kamper and 1 year as an officer girl! I miss my days at Kamp. The smells, the sounds, and the adventure!! It's such a wonderful place- I would NOT be the person I am today if it weren't for Kanakuk, I can honestly say. Thank you mom and dad for sending me to kamp when I was a little 6 1/2 year old girl in TeePee One at K-7. I hope to be able to sent my own kids here one day!

Jonny jumped off the 25 foot water tower at kamp! Now he's an unofficial official Kanakuker! :)
