Where did the time go?!

It's really crazy to think that one year ago I (along with my wonderful fiance, at the time) graduated from Baylor University! What a wonderful time in our lives. Baylor is one of those places you will NEVER understand until you've been there and experienced the "bubble" for yourself. I am so grateful that I was able to share my college experience of Baylor with my husband. Not only my husband but the many amazing friends I made while I was there. These are people that weren't just "friends" they became my family for four years. Living so far away from our real home, these people became our family. Which is probably why it was, and still is really hard to be so far away from them.
Jonathan and me on our Graduation day. Don't worry my family was just thankful I graduated while his family was glad he graduated sum cum laude or however you spell that foreign word that means you're super smart. :) I'm so proud of him...he earned EVERY A. (seriously.)

We are so excited to have the opportunity to go to Dallas this weekend for my best friend, Becky's wedding shower. (There will be many more of these trips to come as several of our friends are getting married this year!)
I will always hold tight to this quote by Tom Petty that my sister framed for me as a high school graduationg present, as I was about to embark on one of the most exciting times of my life. While I'm not in college anymore I still refer to this quote to remember all the crazy and fun things I did while at Baylor.

"You have four years to be irresponsible here. RELAX. Work is for people with jobs. You'll never remember class time but you'll remember time you wasted hanging out with friends. So, stay out late. Go out on a Tuesday with your friends when you have a paper due on Wednesday. Spend money you don't have. Drink til' sunrise. The work never ends, but college does.
